Avengers Redesign

This is my winning entry for the recent Avengers Redesign Contest at Superhero Of The Month.

The challenge was to redesign a team of five Avengers. You could choose any character you like as long as they had been a member of the Avengers during their career as a superhero.

I was having trouble choosing which characters to include in my Avengers team. I then came up with the idea to create a Black-Ops team of Avengers (similar to X-Force or Justice League Elite) which made it easier to select characters based on the suitability of their skills and powers for a team of this kind.
